SWARME of BEESE “rode the goat” this summer with a pair of concerts in historic fraternal society halls in the Upper Midwest. The show at the 1909 Bohemian Brick Hall in Glenville, Minnesota was sponsored by ZCBJ Záre Západu Lodge #44; and we kicked off Edgewood College’s summer concert series at Ernest Hüpeden’s Painted Forest in Wonewoc, Wisconsin. Once home to defunct Modern Woodmen of America Camp #6190, the Painted Forest is known for its outstanding interior murals, completed in 1899. We were delighted to share our brand of mutant folk with great audiences in these very special spaces!
Meanwhile, we’ve been busy writing songs and planning our next recording project, Orchard of Dreams, with release expected in 2026.
