Waiting for a Sign (2024)
The album’s nine evocative songs travel through time, visiting places ranging from a WWI battlefield on Christmas Eve to the cemetery of an abandoned lunatic asylum. Whether imagining a young man’s daydreams in the depths of a Minnesota winter, recalling a romantic awakening on a sultry Texas evening, or retelling a 19th-century North Carolina murder ballad — and finally culminating in an urgent, apocalyptic lament on the climate/environmental crisis, the poetic songwriting is always imbued with a strong spirit of place and an American gothic undercurrent.
Working again with longtime Austin producer & multi-instrumentalist Mark Addison, songwriting duo Lynne Adele & Stephen Canner share vocals & guitar duties. Atmospheric arrangements feature Stefan Keydel on violin & viola and create the band’s signature minor-keyed, mutant folk sound.
Waiting for a Sign was produced, recorded, & mixed by Mark Addison at The Aerie in Austin, TX.

Fruits of the Golden Land (2023)
A collection of sonic postcards from a mythical road trip through the back roads of the American landscape, with detours to haunted places where memories and dreams intersect. The pastoral journey meanders along the edge of the Okefenokee Swamp, across the prairies and cornfields of the heartland, and through the Ozarks, the Piedmont, and the coal fields of southern Appalachia. The tales woven into the shadows of these places are razor-edged and real, steeped in history and imbued with spirit of place, with an American gothic undercurrent. Honest vocal performances are enveloped in textural harmonies and atmospheric arrangements to form the band’s mutant folk sound.

Backwoods of My Mind (2022)
The band's debut album——eight dark, unsettling tracks that take the listener down haunted paths far from the main roads to the eerie places where boundaries between the real and the imaginal disappear. Songs of heartbreak and longing, lost innocence and betrayal, guilt and forgiveness are punctuated with atmospheric arrangements, soaring harmonies, and sweeping violin solos.
